First Prototype — PillowFlow v1
PillowFlow’s first prototype transformed a rough concept into a real, testable product. Using a high-density EVA core and a soft silicone strap, the v1 design successfully delivered comfort and stability for long drives and flights. Early testing validated the ergonomics and materials—and uncovered new insights that now shape the next generation of PillowFlow.
From Idea to Object
After months of sketches, modeling, and material tests, the first tangible PillowFlow prototype was born. Seeing it in physical form for the first time was surreal—what began as a rough taxi-driver hack now looked like something ready for the modern traveler.
We went for a minimal, sculpted shape—lightweight yet structured, with just enough surface curvature to cradle the thigh without bulk. The main goal was to prove one thing: can this design truly stay in place, feel natural, and relieve pressure in real conditions?
